Common Types
●By angle: Three common models including 45°, 90°, and 180°. In engineering, there are also requirements for non-standard angles such as 60°.
●By production process: Welded elbows, pushed elbows, stamped elbows, cast elbows, butt-welded elbows, etc.
●By material: Cast iron, stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel, non-ferrous metals, plastics, etc.
●By connection method: Direct welding, flange connection, hot-melt connection, electrofusion connection, threaded connection, socket connection, etc.
●By manufacturing standard: American standard, chemical standard, electrical standard, marine standard, German standard, Russian standard, national standard, Japanese standard, etc. For example, ASME/ANSI B16.9 "Factory-Made Wrought Steel Butt-Welding Fittings".
●By radius of curvature: Long radius (R=1.5D), short radius (R=1.0D), 2.5D, and 3D. D refers to the elbow diameter, and R refers to the radius of curvature.
●By pressure class: Approximately 17 types, such as Sch5s, Sch10s, Sch10, Sch20, etc. The commonly used ones are STD and XS.
Widely Used in: Nuclear power, chemical industry, petroleum, natural gas, electric power, aerospace, shipbuilding, pharmaceutical industry, coal industry, mining, construction, heating, water supply, drainage, fire protection and other engineering fields.
